I like it too and I'm not usually drawn to this type of processing. But like Marie, I like the contrast the simple colors. Nice.

An interesting scene for sure. I love the depth you where able to capture , so deep I feel I could stroll around the snowy swamp & on up the ridge. I would say exposing all the snow was difficult.

Everyone, thanks for commenting. I set this picture up for lots of depth of field. Once in a while I achieve what I attempt.

Nice shot Karm - I think you have captured the mood and scene beautifully. I normally find these forest shoots too busy and I have trouble focusing on them, in this case, the large snow covered pond directs the eyes quite nicely and the shot works well.

Thanks Manfred. I think the busy part of the image tends to frame it as opposed to dominating it.
