    Some dogs won't stop...some dogs won't start

It has been a long holiday weekend at the lake and there are lots of photos to go through.
Here are a couple of the dogs. This chocolate lab/wiemeraner mix will chase and retrieve the ball from the lake as long as you care to throw it for her.

And then there is the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog...I think she gets tired just watching the other dog swim all morning.

Some nice action shots there, Jon. I particularly like the DIF (dog in flight).

I know that it is difficult unless you have a boat or can wade, but getting shots from the front of a jumping dog would be nice too.

My dog loves the water but, the edges into it carefully.

Richard, I know what you are saying about being in front of the dog, but at this time the only floating device available was a kayak...and I am a very unstable person in that small of a craft Wading is not an option as the water at this point is about 30' deep. I am not going to trust my treading water skills with my camera in hand. Hopefully next time we are there the boats will be in the water for a better angle of Gracie doing her thing.
