    Blown III

    I watched this piece being created from start to finish.

    Started as a blob of molten glass in an oven. It took about 2.5 hours, then another 24 hrs to cure!

    It must have been really boring watching the curing phase of the piece.

    I like that the bright area of the background is somewhat triangular; I'm sure I would have made it less interesting by conforming more to the circular shape of the plate. However, consider toning down the bright area at the top part of the background so the brightest part of the image is more obviously the plate.

    Not so much, Mike! I was multi-tasking! I was also watching grass grow and paint dry so the time went by pretty quickly!

    I think I'll take your advice on the top of the BG. I looked at it during post and for some reason let it go.
