Nice work Bobo. Other than the egret they are birds I do not know, so you must be in Asia. I envy you being able to go there but then not sure if I would want to now.
Thanks Joe. Glad you liked them.
You should go. Hong Kong is one of the major migratory paths for birds and there are millions of shots to be taken. Only problem is equipment as the marsh areas are difficult to get into and a really long lens is needed for the best shots. I don't have those so stick closer to shore or go out to the countryside and "hunt".
For example the Chinese Pond Heron is a first time for me. #2 was taken from a fair distance away so I knew they were around. The next day found one fishing in the pond of a nearby village. Was using the 150mm macro that day so my usual long lens would have done a better job.
Thanks Otavio.
Quite the variety here. Nice job.
Busy day you had. Very nice to see the variety of birds we do not get to see. Nice work
Very nice series.
Lovely photos. Love the egret shot and especially the Bulbul... something about the composition including the tree trunk, (details and lines) makes it extra special.
Thanks Dan, Monte, John, Christina. Appreciate the nice comments.
