The first one: excellent shot, the PP, I am not so sure of.
Great shots Mike, thanks for sharing.

Mike another very nice set of images from what appears to be a great place to visit.
And compliments to Mrs Buckley for an excellent composition.

Nice shots, Mike. Your wife really nailed that first one. I find the inclusion of a human element in landscapes brings landscape shots alive. Not just that they provide a sense of scale but they tend to make the scenery more dramatic - perhaps a sense of the wilderness' overpowering presence over the civilised.

I agree with your idea about including people, Greg, especially for landscape scenes that are parks intended to be enjoyed by people.

Well done, Mike.
Did you use a polarizer?

Re: Slide Rock State Park in Sedona, Arizona
Too funny, Jon. My guess is that the large rock is further upstream, as we didn't see it. We didn't have time to walk beyond the main area where the chutes are.
Thank you, Marie. Yes, I used a polarizer. When I'm shooting outdoors, it's very rare that the polarizer isn't on the lens and being rotated to the ideal position.

I figured. I would be "um...too hot, too cold". You are extremely skilled and also have a gift for knowing when things are "just right". The colors are perfect. Again, nice job.

Re: Slide Rock State Park in Sedona, Arizona
Mike, you can see the large rock in your 1st photo just upstream behind the bare tree on the left. We spent the entire day there...half of which was getting me unstuck from the chute
