    Import All Photos

I use a PC computer running Windows-7. I have several thumb drives on which I have certain information, including images.

Whenever I plug one of these thumb drives into my computer's USB slot, Windows wants to download all of the images on thet thumb drive.

Obviously, it is easy to tell the computer "no!" but, since I have to do this on a regular basis; is there any way to set the default of my Windows-7 to download images, only when I tell it to download?

Richard: I would try opening the Control Panel and selecting the AutoPlay option. Head down to the "Pictures" listbox and select "Take no action". See if that works for you.

I have always turned off all of the autorun features, regardless of the media, just because it is one of the ways that viruses can be introduced onto a machine.
