    A couple of burrowing owls

Hi. Here are some shots of a couple of burrowing owls. They were shot this afternoon, close to sunset time, so light condition was not great. They were at the beach, not far from my house. They are probably hatching there. I could see their burrow, but didnt want to get too close, to avoid disturbing the possible chicks! Maybe I will go back there on Saturday (long before sunset, I hope!).

    C&C welcomed, thanks for viewing!

Otavio: These are brilliant! Well done. They are very cute little guys. You are very fortunate to have them so near. You've done a wonderful job in capturing them.

Wow...there eyes are incredible...always look like they know so much more than we do. Great images Ottavio . May mask what Iso settings and shutter speed you used,? And focusing if possible.

Wonderful images, great capture Otavio. Your Burrowing Owls look identical to ones I captured earlier this year.

Hello, Claudio. No problem, I included the EXIF data over each image (post #1). All shot using shutter priority. ISO was a bit high because, as I explained, it was close to sunset time. I used ISO on auto mode, limited to 3200 (too noisy above that). Focus on auto mode, single center point. Matrix metering. UV filter used.

    Thanks for viewing!
