I'd love to do it -- just need to get a few things "down pat" first. I actually have done a few test hovers at night, but once it gets above eye level with only a single street light to view it by (and only 2 LEDs on the helicopter) it gets very disorienting very quickly - just imagine trying to balance a ball bearing on an oven tray held above your head in the dark - and it costs you $100 every time it falls off - and you'll get the idea

Colin-It looks like he added lights to the rotor blades and then had blue lights on the tail and red on the nose so it would help him to navigate in the dark. Just a thought......
