    Mute Swan

Had a great couple days with the family in Cape May, NJ. I got alot of shots of waterfowl, etc. that I need to work through. Here is one of the first. C&C welcome.

That is a beautiful amount of detail. Do you have room in the original to include more of the neck and move the eye up a bit in the composition? You did a great job with the blacks and whites both on this. Really nice.

Thanks for the comments. Here is another photo. Not sure if it is as sharp, but I moved up the eye and added more neck.

    Hi Steve,
Original post for sure the better picture (eye is sharp). But both have that wonderfully textured and coloured backdrop. The mute swan image is one done many a time but the background makes it a stand out shot.

Thanks for all the comments. Yes I realize that the second is not as sharp as the first.
