Excellent scene. If that is HDR, it is exactly how it should look - completely natural.

I agree that it is a beautiful shot but for my taste it would be even better, and look more natural, if just softened slightly. Oh to come across a scene like that.

HDR as she should be took. Very nicely done. Can I ask what was the range of exposures used, how many used and what was the pp HDR rendering programme? Don't want to know much do I?

    Have a guess :)

    Hi Jeff,

Just a quick comment if I may. To my eye, the foreground looks a little unbelievable due to being too bright (you wouldn't expect that kind of brightness with the sun in that position. I've added a 1.5 stop GND up from the bottom as a comparison.

Well, its a subjective matter - its an HDR image - intended to capture the scene as I saw it - no doubt a single exposure would render it more as you have it - limited by the DR of the camera - but I was trying to overcome that and reproduce the scene by extending the DR ... If you prefer that way, that's fine - I don't. To me, its about making a pleasing image, not whether its believable or not. I've actually sold this image & the client really loves it ... so for me its a successful shot.

    Best

    Jeff
