    Winter Landscape

Another one from january. This group of pines , are one of my favorites. They are located on a golf course and winter makes the perfect time to shoot these beautiful isolated trees. This time, a bonus , there was a group of geese under them feeding.

It really is a nice scene, Steve. I especially like that the clouds provide such an effective background. A small detail that works really well for me: the one goose with its neck fully extended upward. I would like to see more space above the trees and even wonder if a square format would work well.

Nice elements. Some more foreground to anchor it better would have been nice. I don't know if that was an option as it looks like you were below them? Nice clouds also.

Thanks for posting guys. This is only very slightly cropped. I shot it tight as possible to give the geese more weight. Any wider, and i was afraid the geese would look like little specks.
