    Sound blimp

Is there anyone on the forum who has used this gadget from Aquatech? Sounds like something you'd use under water, but it is actually not meant for that.

It is pretty costly equipment (around 1100 euro in the Netherlands), but they claim that sound is reduced by some 98%, which sounds (on paper at least) pretty impressive.

Not for me (I can buy a nice lens for that kind of money), but I guess that some professionals, who need to photograph in quiet places would love this.

That's actually not a bad idea for extremely sound-sensitive environments. But I can't imagine it has mainstream appeal, especially at that price.

Pretty expensive but professional cinema and video equipment has always been expensive.
