Tree Swallows
Couldn't catch these in the air but managed this when they lit down for a second.

Re: Tree Swallows
Bud,
The swallows are always flying fast and is not easy to take a picture of them.
You had a rare opportunity and you took advantage of it to take a picture of this beautiful moment.
Congratulations
Antonio.

Re: Tree Swallows
Bud, these guys are small and fast. The only time I have descent luck with them in flight is when they are entering their nesting whole and even then it can be difficult.
Your image seemed quite dark and covered much of the detail. I hope you don't mind a quick and dirty edit { I believe a few final adjustments would make it a bit better than my quick play. I adjusted the Black & white points, added some exposure and gave a little relief to the shadows. A bit, maybe a bit to much.....sharpening.

Re: Tree Swallows
I like the composition.
Paul's edit removes the one niggle I had about it.

Paul: You caught me once again on posting too quick. That's what happens when I'm on the road with little available time. Your edits are spot on and I appreciate them greatly. I will definitely rework the shot because I do like the composition too. Many thanks......

Re: Tree Swallows
Very nice job, bud. Swallows are like trying to photograph a bullet in flight. It took me 150 shots , just to get one in focus.
I would also consider removing (cloning)the top right corner as well .

Re: Tree Swallows
Such beautifully fast and frustrating little birds. Good idea to catch them on limb.
