    Fresh Snow on Pine II

Thanks: Mark, Chuck,Bobo, Steve and Susan for your thoughts. Steve I worked on another one just a little composition difference, however I worked on trying to bring the tree out more. On the first one I did try more contrast however with so much white the tree would darken too much and I would lose the details in the bark and needles. So like the first one I worked as two smart layers, the bottom from the background and the upper one for the tree only. Because I worked as smart layers I was able to reopen in ACR and adjust the Clarity, Vibrance, and Saturation way up almost all the way, then created a mask to isolate the tree from the rest of the image. Then worked the lower image and brought the above sliders way down Clarity almost to 0. That way I was able to blur everything but the tree which was on another layer. I think I like this one a little better, it takes sometime to work out a method that will work in these conditions.

    Cheers:

    Allan
