    body parts of a catt

this caterpillar was given to me by three very young sisters so that I could see the life cycle of it. So what does a macro shooter do?

    2. the head and thoracic legs

    3. the abdominal prolegs - when it moves it's suctions open and closes

    4. the anal prolegs - the last anchor that holds the catt

All good photo's Steven and very interesting to see the beastie up close.
That second image is just stunning, so clear and sharp.
    Great work, Greg

Ps, no exif data. What were your settings etc

Greg, the reason that the exif is missing is because the final part of my workflow in Photoshop, I use "Save for Web." I find this way to be easier as different Forums have different guidelines as to how large a file could be. Anyway, I will remember to type in the exif the next time I upload photos over here.

Your 2nd shot is really outstanding. I'd consider a PP nudge of a tad less luminance, and a tad more contrast and saturation (recognizing that I tend that way more than many). Nicely done

thanks Kevin, I guess many times I tend not to experiment with the different sliders. Still very basic in my PP.
