On a recent trip to Colombia to visit a few friends, I had a bit of luck with two different species of hummingbird. Not bad for a beginner, eh? Comments, critiques, and tips are welcome.

Nice shots Scott - I'm nothing of a bird photographer, so I'll let the others chime in as to it's technical merit, but I do like taking photos of flowers, and your second image is amazing!
Great colours, sharp focus (on the flower, at least), and perfectly exposed. Very nice work.
