Oops

Sorry Antonio - looks like I misunderstood you - the bit that confused me is that your signature WAS showing - so I assumed that you were having trouble deleting it (since your profile is already set to display signatures).

If you start cleaning the forums, I have quite a few "deletion" requests!

I think it is better to make it a lesson for others so that they are more carefull with what they post on here

I think I have to explain why I started this thread.

I realized suddenly I had not my signature and I decided to insert one and so I did.
I have been - still am - in another forum which uses - apparently - the same software and there, when I change my signature all my posts are changed to the new signature.

When I inserted the signature here and looked in one of my posts I realized that it was not there. Nt showing.

However, in all the posts I make after inserting the signature it really appears at the bottom.
Here there is no signature because it was before its existence and here, in this very post, it appears.

I regret however, that we can't change the colors of the letters but that is not important, is it ? and that we can't erase a thread we started because we changed our mind or what ever ?

It is also possible that I may be missing something viewing my lack of knowledge on software ...

Possibly:

If you Edit a Post (one you have created yourself) AND click Go Advanced, I think you get the option to delete.

If you do this to the first post in the thread, I think it deletes the entire thread (I usually do this by accident , fortunately only to my own so far!)

Hope I don't get into trouble for revealing this

cheers,

Antonio - Just a Though

Hi Antonio,

The good news is that your signature is showing now (sorry again about deleting it!) - the bad news is that it's a pretty big signature! I'm just wondering if you'd be better off putting the last 3 lines into 1 line (so it displays "wider" rather than "longer"? Just my opinion, but I feel that at the moment it's a wee bit "in your face" (and possibly the longest/biggest ones that I've seen here).
