    Eagle in bad light

I haven't posted much lately as the weather is just not cooperating. Frozen and overcast...not the best.
Today I decided to get out and see if I could find some eagles and was lucky enough to capture these images.

These were ISO 1000 and up just to get enough light to maintain a high shutter speed. Not the best quality but signs that spring is approaching and more and better things to come

Very nice images Monte I would love to see one of them in the wild must be awesome.
Perhaps the crop is a bit tight in the first one?
    Well done, Greg

I particularly like the second image, but would like to see some "cleanup" of the small branches that emerge behind the wings, and the larger one that is bisecting the front of the left wing.

You are right about the light but we have to take the conditions provided. Nice captures, I like the feather detail of the head and neck in the second image.

    Thanks for the feedback.
Greg: I never cropped the wing tips off...I missed them in the shot
Kevin: Yes you are right. Some cleanup of the image would make it less busy. If I print it I will certainly do that.
