    Sunrise the aftermath

    This is what I developed it into.

    On the way into work I see great sunrises but there is so much in the foreground that cropping is the only way I can get what looks good to me. Unless I brave the crazy Welsh drivers on the A48.

    Hi Michael, I really like the colours, and the concept that you've tried to capture. It's biggest weakness for me though, is that nothing is in focus. It can be very distracting when looking at a photo, and your eye has nothing to zero-in on. I suspect that since the image has been cropped so much, as you say, that your auto focus locked onto something other than this scene, and you've cropped it away.
