Mini Competition #26

Round 26 ...

Here's how it works ...

- You good folks post images in the thread

- When we get 10 images I attach a voting poll

- After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person. Theme is nothing in particular, but should be appropriate to this forum (but I won't be getting too critical about this bit).

Hi MrTee,

If you can see it, but we cannot, it usually your browser cache that causes that.

Can you try making the attachment again and I'll sort it from there.

Or, from that link I PM'd you the other night, go to the top of that thread and host the image on Imageshack following the first post's instructions.

Sorry you're having problems,

Hi there,

I cannot help noticing that this, and your last, Competition entry have been particularly dim, is this deliberate, or do they look OK to you, even when compared to others here?

Cheers,

I started with this raw file of three screws, heads down, on a sheet of black reflective perspex. I edited the shot in CS4 to boost the colours in the screws. Then applied a filter called Redfield Ripples Magic which costs $20. http://www.redfieldplugins.com/ You need to get the right subject (often a single object works best) and it takes time to adjust the control parameters to get it looking how you want. The filter is a direct plugin to Photoshop. It's what I call a retirement tool - when you are retired you have nothing better to do.

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY TO THE COMP
