    Re: Poisonous and Non-poisonous

I seek assistance from the Moderator to amend the title of this thread of mine on the main page for me due to my typo error. It was supposed to be "Poisonous and Non-poisonous". I was trying to do it by myself several times but don't seem possible. Thanks in advance.

    Both poisonous? Kidding...

I think #2 looks like guava, so I think it is non-poisonous (with #1 being poisonous).

Hey, Otavio, I too thought #2 was guava but do not recall if they have a ridge down the middle.

Bobo, maybe that one is a crippled guava! Besides, the one in the background does not seem to have a ridge and the leaves also look guava leaves to me...I am anxious for Walad's result, anyway!

OK guys we don't have to wait for the 3rd volunteer. Bobo your answer is wrong . Otavia is right, #2 fruit is a guava and #1 is Cerbera odollam, or commonly known as the Suicide tree, Pong-pong, and Othalanga, is a species of tree native to India and other parts of Southern Asia. It grows preferentially in coastal salt swamps and in marshy areas. It grows wild along the coast in many parts of Kerala, India and has been grown as a hedge between home compounds. It yields a potent poison, often used for suicide or murder. Thanks to both of you in participating..

    So I won this one!

Walad, are you sure you are not feeding the dragonflies with this Cerbera Odollam, right before assembling your tripod? That would explain them to be so "statue like", allowing you to shoot them that perfect!

Just a joke. Thanks for the game and the cultural class!
