    Snow at Colvin Run Mill

The color version of this photo was captured in 2009 and used that year as my holiday card. I converted it to black-and-white last week.

The building is a mill built in 1811. It is powered by a waterwheel (not seen in the photo) to grind grain. It is still used today to grind grain today for demonstrations.

C&C encouraged, though I have no questions.

Nice image mike. Too much contrast. I would lower the highlights a little, they are almost blown out.

Thanks, Andre! Thanks also to Steve.

I lowered the highlights, but perhaps not enough. Thanks for the idea, Steve!

I do find myself torn between the mill and the foreground object (fence?), as the subject, though.
