Infrared Southern California

These are some test shots using a Canon D60 that has been newly converted to full-time infrared. 17-40mm f/4L lens. ISO 200; 1/250 second @ f/11

Infra red is an interesting diversion that has an appeal all of its own. Obviously often used in specialized situations, but for the average photographer, it probably rarely is considered.

I must admit to never having experimented with the format, but am nevertheless interested in the results that you have produced.

I would be very interested to see other subjects that you have applied this to, if nothing else to compare it against conventional set ups.

On reflection, I wonder if McQ might want to add anything on infra red photography in the tutorials. (Apologies if it is there and I have passed over it.)
