Frosty Day - test shots from new camera

I upgraded from an EOS450D to a 60D a week ago, and finally had a chance to "test drive" it yesterday. Both shots are with my 17-85mm USM lens and Polarising filter, the first is a jpeg straight off camera (with a slight crop), whilst the second is a RAW conversion (I shot in jpeg + RAW). It's only my second attempt at RAW conversion, so I've a lot to learn.

Father Christmas also brought us PS Elements 11; I've not had much chance to look at it yet - work really gets in the way of things, doesn't it?....

    Hi John,

    Good shots, I like it.

Do you know what "Magog" means. Over here it is an African word for an OLD WOMAN. Does it fit you?

Andre, the Gog Magog Downs are a small range of hills just to the south of Cambridge. The village in which I live is at the foot of the hills.
