    Very nice detail on this shot. Wouldn't want to be this close to him in person, though.

    Jaime,

    I like your shot; you made good use of the 500's capabilities. My only criticism is the bear's ears are cut off. I've never shot a bear so I imagine it was pretty exciting and if this is the full image, you were close to a wild and dangerous animal. Nevertheless, you nailed the focus and exposure. Lets see more. Good job.

    Yeah, the tough thing with a prime lens is that you get what you get! She approached us and we had to take what we got!
