Is this cropped? I keep looking for the end of his beak.

Roger I think that is a sweet shot. Didace keeps looking for an end to the beak, and I keep getting lost in all the fantastic color an detail that you have captured in a brave and unique composition. That eye keeps me coming back to center. saweet!

Thanks and there is no crop on the photo I wanted a nice detailed shot of the head and eye. It was taken at Redondo Beach Pier where you can get real close to them so I brought my 35-100mm to get a nice shot of the head. Here's a close up crop of the eye.

That is a great shot. We should all do bird closeup portraits.

That detail in the crop is amazing.
