    The Visitors

I loved the sense of calm self composure of this mother and daughter in the wide expanse.

Sorry about the small size..it can be seen larger on flickr.

    Hi Sharon,
I like it too. Is there a bigger story behind it?

Hi John........nice to see a face I recognise...was I really gone so long??

This mum and litle girl seemed to eschew the beach and sit with their back to the view but be perfectly still and content in their world..

I think "solitude" is more appropriate than "lonely." Very nice feel enhanced by the toning.

Just long enough that we all missed you. It's lovely to see you back.

Lonely? Nah! Perhaps serene and peaceful? Nah! The humans spoil that.

    Pic-wise, dang good.

    Re: The Visitors

Hi Sharon. I love your photo, but think it might be a bit better if you cropped some of the right side off so the mother and daughter are not so centered. I suspect, but do not really know that you wanted to keep the curved waterway in the photo, but perhaps the image would be stronger without it so the people are more over to the right.

BTW, I did view the image on Flickr. Thanks for the tip.
