    Lightning Storm Tonight

Here's a few from tonight about 11pm. A bigger storm is on its way so hopefully will get some good shots at around 2am. I've used the Bulb (b) setting and a remote trigger for these with 100 ISO, F: 9. C&C welcome.

I'd say the legs on the pier need straightened, but apart from that ...........................!

I think #1 is the most dramatic of the three. Wonderful image. Hope you get more at 2am.

Firstly congrats on getting these. Pretty hard most times.

Of the 3 for me it would be #1. #2 is pretty good too but pier needs straightening.

Cropping the third one a little tighter on the right side may be something to consider. Along with leveling the pier.

    Excellent shots.

I like No 2 but everyone likes No 1. Good fun anyway, the bigger storm later turned out far to rainy so good think I had a lokk at this little fella.

#1 is a beautiful image. How long did you leave the shutter open? The EXIF says 65 seconds. Is this correct or does 65 mean something else in Canon language

Thanks Monte, I leave it open until I get a good strike, in this case 65 seconds. It's not wise to leave it to long but if there is any light around. If it's pitch black it's OK.
