    Nine Miles In

Took this long exposure on my rescent road trip throught the american southwest. It was take at the nine mile marker on Hwy 50 in Utah from California. I really like how the clouds were moving away from me.

    Cheers:

A long exposure taken from the middle of the road indicates either insanity or a lack of traffic.

I like the drama in this a lot. Unless the marker on the left side of the road has particular importance to you, consider removing it.

This image makes me dream of sitting on my bike preparing to see just how quickly I can reach the mountains. Nicely done, the movement of the clouds really helps to pull you in and down the road. The marker is a bit distracting, but not terminally.

Allan this shot is exquisite! Congratulations.

It makes me dive into the perspective.

That sense of motion is really really cool.

All photographers are nuts in a way, (just ask the non-photographers) so one nut to another - dang well done.

Didace: I shot that with ISO set at 50, F/22 +.33 exposure, and a time of 120 seconds. It was take at the nine mile marker inside the Utah border on Hwy 50 (The Loneliest Road in America).

    Cheers:

    Hi Allan,
After your post on my thread I decided to see if I could find what you were talking about when you said you were taking and enjoying long exposure shots. Glad I found this. Beginning to find out how to navigate this site. It really has a great effect. I like it very much.
    Ciao

    Hi Allan,
Great shot. If mine I would remove the marker, but it does not bother me to much.
    Cheers
