    Trumpeter Swans liftoff

I captured these beautiful birds on a local lake just as they were leaving for their journey south.

That is indeed a superb image. Everything about it is right.

A lovely, subdued lighting image, lifted into something light-hearted by the "hop, skip and jump" of the swans.

Perfect shot! How did you talk them into having their wings perfect like that?

That's the beauty of being able to fire off some fast bursts. Several in this series were unusable because heads were obscured etc.

The thing I love about your images is they are interesting. This one is so symmetrical and balanced. You can tell you were in the flow in this moment, hats off to you.
