really like the hawk photos jack. Around here, you can't get within 200 yards of one and it will fly off.

Hi Jack, healthy looking Coyote and beautiful Hawk. Nice images, especially the Hawk. I am trying to decide what the lighter circular areas are in the foreground of the Coyote. Maybe our of focus circular bales of hay?

My guess would be specular highlights off dew/rain drops on a fence wire in foreground.
While they are a distraction, for me they are acceptable as they add context to the scene.

I see the same Coyote picture twice Jack (i46.tinypic.com/8yic5h.jpg), are there supposed to be two different ones?

I prefer the Hawk shot too, although it may benefit from a subtle output sharpen at a very low radius to get the very best from it.

Nice set .I wish you had better light for the coyote. We have lots of coyotes but I cant get near them, and when I sit and wait on them they circle me wide. They are much more wary than the hawks here. Thanks for sharing.
