    Mountain Dew

    Hey Guys,

I took a few shot on a camping trip.
I am still practicing using the camera in full manual mode, so your C&C is very much welcome.

The mountain looked amazing but this is the best i could, would guys have shot it differently?

    Cheers

Edited: uploaded the photos in jpeg format

    Hi Bander,

On the first two, you are to be commended for getting down low and trying to isolate the detail, but there seem to be DoF/focus issues and some pre-shooting 'housekeeping' of the local environment in front of the lens to remove near foreground distractions would have helped.

As you have posted in png, I cannot see any EXIF data, do you have that information available?
It's difficult to suggest further improvements not knowing what produced these.

The last (mountain) shot looks like another 1/2 or 2/3 stop exposure would have helped - or raising that in PP.

    Cheers,

Thank you Dave for the feedback.

I shoot in RAW usually and convert to the photos later, mostly to JPEG and sometimes PNG ( never thought i would make a difference ).
I cropped the first photo to clear out the fuzzy clutter on the foreground.

    Thanks again
