    Three from today C&C Welcome

Hi, Not been posting photos for a while but today went to a place I had seen before in hope of a bit of colour in the sky but will need to return for a sunrise as it faces approx east.
Canon 1Ds Mk II, Lightroom and a sharpen in Photoshop.
Don't no why but I feel the first one is a little blue?

I think the blue in the first one is mostly a bit of bluish haze. The white rocks in the foreground are probably the best guide and they don't seem to be far out.

Those trees certainly seem to have had a tough life. And an unexpected daylight moon to finish with.

Compositionally I like the first one the best. Its an interesting vista with the different layers of mountains. I think you're idea to return for a sunrise is a good one. Just the slight change in the color of the sky from the second image to the third image makes a difference.

    Hi Russ!

    Just curious...

...is this area a victim of logging, or wildfire, or maybe both?

The reason I ask is because there is obvious cutting and the still-standing trees look a little blackened...

Hi, Thank you for the replies.
Terry, huge fire in 2008 destroyed thousands of trees and killed lots of wildlife, the cut trees are trees that the Government has allowed to be cut down.
