    Crocs eye - up close and personal

    Out on a boat - this chap (a nile crocodile) was a little too close for comfort! Posted for a bit of fun - had to do rather a severe crop with not too many pixels to play with.

    I never got close enough to one to realize that their eyes are green. The alligators I have seen had brown eyes.

    I love Larson's stuff. Whenever you hear people in a card shop really laughing out loud, you can bet they're looking at Larson cards.

    That is, I think, a very, very good image Dave. You've beautifully captured and conveyed that sense of menace and danger that we associate with the creature. Wonderfully atmospheric.
