New Russian Translations of Tutorials

FYI for those of you who happen to also speak Russian: Seva Gluschenko has kindly volunteered to translate all of the tutorials. They can be viewed here:

http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/ru/tutorials.htm

As of today, the first three topics are complete, but I get new files/updates almost every other day. Expect a lot more in the coming weeks.

Thank you Seva for all of this work!

Update: Seva has now translated 19 pages into Russian. Quite an accomplishment in just over a week's time!

LOL - at least we hope they're translated! - I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference!

Great work.

Re: New Russian Translations of Tutorials

haha, luckily I have some Russian friends here that can verify them for me. Seva is in Moscow. If it were up to just me, I wouldn't be able to tell whether they said "insert your chosen expletive sentence here" or "this is the way to properly read a camera histogram" .

Re: New Russian Translations of Tutorials

FYI, the *entire* set of tutorials & techniques has now been translated into Russian. This is an amazing achievement in such a short time, since this content would be over 300 pages if printed out!

Re: New Russian Translations of Tutorials

Nice work! I never knew the tutorials were available in other languages.

Could I suggest moving the language option to the top of the page to make it more visible?

Re: New Russian Translations of Tutorials

Thanks for the feedback. Is there anywhere in particular that you'd suggest moving the links to? I agree that they're too buried as is, but that's partly because until now the only translation was partial and in Portuguese . If I can find the right balance of usability and lack of clutter at the top I'd give it a try...
