    Great shot! I like fireworks shots that have foregrounds which "ground" the fireworks rather than simply shots of fireworks againat a black sky...

    Our Diwali celebrations were just ok this year. My aunt (mom's elder sister) passed away a few days back, which was very disheartening for us. We had lost all the charm for the celebrations. So I took the pictures instead of going in for full celebration.

    Nicola, the Exif are Exposure 38 Secs, F/16.0, Focal Length 18 mm, ISO 100. I had put my camera on bulb mode & waited for the skyshot at the right place. Anything above 25 seconds would have got me an acceptable exposure.
