    The storm has gone:

    Hi,

I shot this one after a thunder storm. My feeling is there is something missing in the image. What have I missed? Does it have any impact? Does it tell a story?

Please any C & C will be appreciated.

    Hi Andre
In my very humble (and newbie) opinion it lacks a focus (or subject if you prefer) point for the eye.

    Hi, Andre

I think Steve is right. You have a very nice sky with great colors and clouds, but you just happened to see it when you werent facing a compelling landscape- both the water and land mass are relatively featureless. This goes into the "almost" category, methinks

    Thanks guys,

Maybe I should clone a monster into the foreground.

Maybe try a crop from the bottom to reduce the amount of sea; perhaps half of the current width, and a similar amount from the left side to retain the same size ratio.

I suspect this will concentrate more on the sky which is the main subject.
