More Birds From Earlier This Week...

I shot these mid-morning earlier this week, I was a little bummed out arriving later than normal. When I first looked at the images I shot that morning I was disappointed. As I worked the images in post processing I found several that I liked. A lot of work with the Point Cuve and Adjustment Brush. I post them here for your C&C. Thank you for viewing.

    Snowy Egret

    Moorhen

    Pretty darn decent Joe!

The highlights in the water are competing with the Snowy Egret. Did you use a CPL on that one?

The Moorhen image gave me a refreshing laugh!

I was surprised by the blue under wing markings on the Cattle Egrets. I'll bet a close-up one of those would make a great shot!

Hello Frank, thank you for viewing and commenting.

The highlights are in the image of the Snowy Egret are distracting, will have to work on them. I was concentrating on the tones in the feathers that I had tunnel vision not seeing what was in front of me.

To me the Moorhen looks like it is made up of spare parts.

I think the blue color cast on the underneath of the wings of the Cattle Egrets is a reflection of the blue sky off the water. I other lighting the underside is white like most of the bird.
