Nice image Werner, you balanced the brightness of outside and the shadows inside for what appears to me a perfect exposure.

Thank you for your comments. I shot quite a few windows on this trip. Many were as nicely arranged as this one. I wish I knew the symbolism of the items on the sill. There were no tours here, just walk around and take pictures.

I really like this image. Very nice capture of both inside and outside. The tone and texture of the wall along with the arrangement of the items on the sill sets an old world mood for me.

Oh wow.... absolutely LOVE this.
Fabulous composition... makes me feel like I could step right into the photo and not want to come back!
Subtle colors are great too.

Thank you for your comments. Windows set in thick castle walls have a lovely side-light that brings out textures beautifully.
