    Three Stones

    Three Stones

In the pastures of Glengorm Castle B&B, on the northern coast of Mull. Taken with the Nikon D7000 and the Nikkor 10-24mm at 10mm.

I had so much fun photographing standing stones in Scotland I may put a few up in my backyard, with the help of a backhoe of course.

I love the composition. It looks a bit dark to me but that might be my non-calibrated monitor or it may have been the mood you were going for. But I like it a lot!

Oh no! Sharon, that's a beautiful walk through the pastures to the cliffs. You can also get there via a gated farm road and not have to climb the ladder/stairs over the fence.

Did Glengorm remind you of Hogwarts or is it just me?

I know there are some halo problems with this but I couldn't resist grunging it up a bit.

I did enjoy those shelves full of Single Malts for sampling.

Thank you for commenting Terri and Mark. I did want to give those stones a bit of mystery. For those of us who live where 20 year old buildings are too old; the stones, the duns, the dounes and the blackhouses are all fascinating.
