    They are all sharp and work well, Joe.

    Photographing a flower plus insect and giving each of them equal emphasis is never easy.

    Like others have said, each of the images in the set is very good in its own right. The key point for subjects such as this, I feel, as this set illustrates very well, is clarity. And that's not just about nailing the focus, but also seeing when you have the right light to work with.

    Hello Donald, thank you for taking the time to view and comment. Your comment concerning the right light is spot on. In reviewing and editing images I have taken, those with the subject well illuminated have shown the best detail. I am striving to pay more attention to how light falls on the subject and learn when to capture an image rather that shooting everything hit or miss as I did when beginning digital photography.
