    Little High Falls

This small falls is a secondary off the main falls, the water runs from the upper portion of the river and runs out from a small natural overflow to this cascade. It is deeper into the woods and is much prettier than the main falls. The soft light, fallen leaves, and green moss really sets up for a wonderful image.

    Cheers:

What a beautiful time to get this picture with all the fall color. It's very nice. And this is one of those times that I think the softer treatment to the water is appropriate. I like this a lot.

Hi Allan, the diagonals and colours make for a pleasant fall image!

I should say so! You nailed everything.

Consider cropping some off the bottom. Currently, there is so much foreground color that my eye is distracted from the subject, which is the falls. If you crop enough off the bottom so the bright red colors are only in the right corner of the frame rather than all the way across the bottom, you might like it.

    I'd agree with Mike.

    The colour is wonderful.

I also wondered about cropping at the left to take out that old bit of broken branch that lying diagonally?

Just the right amount of softness in the water, the sharpness of the colors I think it works and would agree with the others about cropping, although I probably wouldn't have thought of it myself. I always want to keep everything in a picture.
