    Algonquin Brothers

Went out to Algonquin Park on Monday and Tuesday. Driving some of the side roads doing drive bye shooting, I shot this one. In my opinion it shows the image that I have in my mind when I hear the words "Algonquin Park".

    Cheers:

I like the colors. However, due to the composition, I can't tell whether the colorful leaves or the white tree on the right is the subject.

Mike: neither, both are the subject as the title suggests "Algonquin Brothers", these are two of the kinds of tress that you find commonly in Algonquin Park, along with the White Pine, which some call Tommy Thomson Pine as he painted a great number of these tress as a member of the group of 7. Here when I say or hear Algonquin were see in my mind's eye the above type of image. Both the sugar and the birch and the evergreen.

    Cheers:

    Allan
