    Marina Evening.

This shot was made at the Erie Basin marina (Buffalo, NY) one late evening, and I rather like it. I used Photoshop CS6's 'Oil Paint' filter, to give the photo that type of painterly effect, and I find myself liking it more and more. But I would really like to get member's opinions on what they might think of it.

    Hi Nathan,
Nice shot, personaly I think it would be better without the oil paint filter, also it needs to be straightened as the tower is leaning, I like the way the lights run through the scene.
    Best Wishes, Pat

Thanks Pat. Yes, that building is a sore spot for me, too, and I had just recently looked at how to go about straightening it out in Photoshop CS6. I lost that tutorial (had to, more recently, wipe my system, and restore), but I will find something else on it, and give it a shot.

Thanks for checking my photo out, Mark.

Sadly, I don't seem to have the original of that photo, anymore. I had to format my PC, just very recently, but thought that all of my photos had been transferred to my external hard drive - where this filtered version of the photo had resided. But I guess I was wrong.
