Still PPing my shots from up north ... Could do with some feedback on these ones please ... I've decided I'm not much of a Seascape photographer - no Mountains !

    Hi Jeff,
The second image is my pick, just wonderful colours and texture.
Using it as my desktop background at the moment. Hope you don't mind, but I isolated the sky and saturated the colours a bit to balance the image.
    Cheers, Greg

Jeff, they are all good images, but the one you wonder about is the one I like the best. Why? Can't say, it just grabs my attention for some reason. I know, I'm strange that way.

    They all work, Jeff.

I would probably clone out the flying gull in the first one. And I can't get over excited by #5 with parked cars and a forest of masts. Admittedly that is a nice moon but the overall impact is just too cluttered for me.

I like the last one as well.
There's very little at the centre and stuff happening on the outside framing the centre, plus the leading line of the water taking the eye to the centre. But as there is nothing to focus the eye on, it continues back to the outside. And so the circle continues, holding my attention for longer than it would otherwise.
I've used a little dodging and burning plus selective saturation to enhance the leading lines a little (plus a slight vignette).
Another option, another taste for comparison.
    Hope you don't mind.
I've copied the original first for ease of comparison.

They are all exceptional pictures. I am partial to boat scenes, so you know which ones I favor. The first one is so peaceful looking, even though a party may break out at any moment. LOL.

Yes, the port shot is too cluttered, thanks for taking the time to respond.

The last two for me Jeff, that is the edited version of the last. I think the colors look fairly natural but I see where you can think not with it right next to the orig. Set apart and looked at for the first time I think it would look very natural. Nice series.

No major changes, just deepened the tones a little.
Wonderful part of the world you live in. Fantastic scenery.
