The idea is good randy but for me the grass in the front adds very little and the top part of the image is the same, id sudgest a much tighter crop but youd have to clone out the grass in the front on the birds to the right of the image even if you cropped, try for tighter framing composition when you shoot next time, hope this helps.

This is the sort of thing i mean, i would have left more of the image in on the right but im at work and the only editing software i have is paint and i couldnt clone out the grass.

Great job Randy, you've nailed him with his flaps up and his landing gear down perfectly. I agree with Mark that the grass is a little distracting, but in my opinion not enough to detract from a great shot. It does look as though it could use some straightening on the far shore. Mark, that's a nice crop, but I think the foreground and background grasses provided a bit of context, i.e. some sort of wet lands, not far from the near shore.

I did try the closer crop, but felt I was getting into a zone of too much pixelation, here is original
