    Substitute Elk

There have been more deer hanging out in my yard today than I've seen all year. I finally decided it would be good practice for possible elk sitings on my trip next week. Here are a few. C&C welcome!

#1 I was zooming in on the buck in the background when this doe stepped in front of the camera.

#4 One of the big guys. They are all still hanging out together.

    Really nice, Terri.

I especially appreciated the images of the fawn and the interaction with the aspen. #4 just speaks of dominance and ownership

Thanks Dave and Kevin. Yes, I love my yard. We've had this place for 3 years and I never tire of the wildlife that wander through! It's what really spurred my interest in photography.

Oh to live in the country. I love the light on her face in the 1st one. The fawn is adorable.
