I think this image works really well in black and white, the problem I have is that the lighthouse seems to have some kind of perspective (although only very slight) problem going on and spoils the picture for me.

I really, really like this! A minor change i would make is to eliminate the people as I think the image is so strong on it's own...

I think this would be a great image to try the Orton Effect on if you are so inclined.
