Nicely captured photo, and it looks like you might have been on the menu.

Hopefully they didn't eat you but what's for sure is that you have a very powerful image.

    Kitties!!!

Oh, this is just wonderful. The light color sand really makes for nice contract. I love how lioness #2 is coming up from the rear. As usual, I'd like to see a tighter crop. I think there is too much on the left. I'd also like a close-up of #1's face. I just love her eyes and her whole expression.

    Very nice, thanks for posting.

Hungry Eyes! It would be more appealing without the distracting text but it is a great capture nonetheless.

Very nice indeed. What great cats. They are the animal I would least like to be on the bad side of in the wild.

Great shot! We spent five days prowling around Etosha late last year and only saw one lion the whole time were were there. It looks like they are trying to figure out if you are part of their food group!

Thanks for the comments all. Luckily I was in a vehicle using a canon 100-400mm lens. For the protection of the animals of course. If they ate me they would be in for a terrible guts ache!

Great shot Gav, perfect composition and I love the look on their faces. One for the wall on the van.
