Yes, first snow on the tops, & I've no wood in yet & haven't cleaned the chimney !

That's a beautiful image, Jeff.

I think the composition is magnificent. The lighting is wonderful. There's, what I would call, a lovely balance to the image. I think what I mean by that is that there is nothing that 'jars' or upsets a sense of everything being just in right place, correctly exposed.

An image to just sit and look at for a long time.

Beautiful lighting really makes for a wonderful shot. I like the way that the sunlight provides a nice wash of light on both the buillding and on the side of the mountain in your image. Nice sunny autumn days are beautiful, but unfortunately, there seem to be too few of those as gray, overcast skies are much more the norm in my part of the world.
